What’s so special about the promo shopper bag?

The promo shopper bag has been gaining in popularity for the last 15 years or so. However, since the introduction of the government’s policy of (larger) shops charging for bags to help reduce the manufacture and use of one-time plastic shopping bag, the fabric shopper bag is now more popular than ever.

Also known as a tote bag or ‘bag for life’ though I wouldn’t expect it to last that long; although you do see some pretty old ones being used at supermarkets. You can often tell the age by the printed event details on the side of the bag.

Some are manufactured from 100% cotton, other are fair-trade certified or 100% organic cotton and some are jute or canvas whilst others are polyester for sublimation printing

Manufactured with long or short handles and in a variety of sizes and shapes (some for just one wine bottle) the decoration options are limitless.

It will take a 18 cm tubular hoop (frame) from embroidery.
