Here at Aspect we’ve got a thing for softshell jackets as we were the first workwear company in the UK to start selling them having been invited by a manufacturer to test the market. We first wash tested the samples and soon realised they came out of the washing machine and dryer looking brand new. No bobbling, not creased and looking fabulous. We showed them to a few customers that repeat order from us many times a year and asked them if they like to try these in place of fleece jackets. Without exception every customer added them to their next order and have been doing so ever since. The main difference to look for with softshell jackets is how many bonded layers the garment has. There are 2 layer and 3 layer options. Two layer jackets are a lighter weight fabric and cheaper. Three layer softshell jackets are warmer, more durable and more suited to winter conditions. All softshell garments can be embroidered. Most softshell fabrics can’t be printed but recently Result produced a new style that can be printed.
